Believe it or not, I just don't have the words to express the true depth of my sorrow to the Raboteau family at this time. Dewayne was a really cool guy and I liked him a lot. His beautiful spirit was consistent and the love that he had for his family was amazing. He'll be missed in body, but, his spirit will be with us for a very, very long time to bringing joy and comfort.

In Our Hearts
Author: Unknown

We thought of you today.
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.

Judy and Family,
My deepest sympathies to all of you for this tragic and unexpected loss, my families' prayers are with you. I apologize for not being able to make back to Virginia for Dewayne's funeral. Of course Dewayne was a good friend of mine and I will miss him very much. In the 2 years I worked with and carpooled with Dewayne I learned what incredible man he was. He was a man of principles, kindness, humor, and compassion. From the day to day operations at work to the self sacrifice and love he displayed from the day Mason was born, I had the privilege witnessing his extraordinary character. He set an example for how we as men should live our lives and love our families. He must have been nothing less than an absolute treasure to you who were closest to him. He was not only a great friend but also a great man. I thank God for giving me the gift of his and your friendship and I will always celebrate his life in my heart.

Sincerely,
Brad Coughlin

Mrs. Judy, we never met, but I fell I know you because of the time I spent with Dewayne. Every time I saw Dewayne, we talked about our families and I really got to know you, your kids Meia, DJ and especially Mason. Dewayne helped everyone with a smile on his face. Every time I talked with him he made me smile/laugh (even when I was upset or sad). Thank you for sharing your husband, father and grandfather with us. I still can't believe he's gone (physically); he will truly be missed.

Judy I won't forget how you, Dewayne, and Mia blessed me and Vance with our first baby now 2yrs old. The joy of that moment with you all still makes me laugh. The news of Dewayne was just devastating and still is. Judy I interact with Dewayne and your family through you, they were always on your lips and in your iPhone. You would make so many difficult work nights easier taking about your beautiful family. God's peace will rest in and with You, Mia, Mason and Dewayne Jr. and the Lord Jesus be with all the family and friends.
