I learnt a great lesson from this great man of God. When I was wondering with the first donation how we can finish the work, he said, "Ananthi, you start and walk in faith." I have been following this to the letter from then on and it has brought so much blessing in my life.

To the Rosser Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies in the passing of Mr. Rosser. I came to know this Honorable man when I was a State Trooper supervising the State Inspection Program at many of his dealerships. It was a pleasure knowing such a man and also depending on and using much of his advice. If there is a Ring of Honor in The Kingdom of Heaven I have no doubt this Man has a place to stand !! Mr. Dois Rosser's Service and Contribution to the Communities he so served will never be the same without him. Godspeed to you Sir, what a pleasure to have known you,
Master Trooper Dwayne M. Davis (retired)

Dois instilled in all those that met and came to know him the want to help others and to be a disciple by his example. He was a Man's man that never met anyone that was not a friend and that did not befriend him back. He was full of the Holy Spirit and a contagious smile that melted your troubles instantly no matter what you were going through! He reminded me of my earthly Father so much so I know God sent him to encourage me as I lost my Dad early in1988 who was born same year as Dois in 1921. Dois will be sorely missed but we take great comfort knowing he is with the Lord, a job well done!!

In 2008, Uncle Dois and Aunt Shirley opened their home to my brother, my mom and I when we flew out to Virginia to make arrangements for a Grandma Jean Rosser Trimble. We enjoyed their hospitality. Then this summer my husband and I were able to attend church with them then enjoy them for lunch. The following day we got a tour of ICM. The whole time he reminded us we were family. We so appreciated that.

I would like to extend the thoughts and prayers of my family. My father (L.P. Thorpe) worked with him for many years and said nothing but nice things about Mr. Rosser. God Speed Sir. The Thorpe Family.

Our hearts ache for your loss of your very special father, grandfather and great grandfather. Meeting both Dois and Shirley in our early walk in faith, we witnessed the truest sense of serving the Lord with His kingdom minded, servants heart for the Lord which had no boundaries. We will miss them so much but with great joy we can only imagine his reunion with Shirley and standing with the holiness of His beautiful Savior, Jesus Christ.

My favorite saying I captured from Mr. Rosser was, Do you want to see the whole world reached for Christ? This sums up his drive and life ambition! The answer is YES!!!

The Rosser family touched several branches of the Edmonds family over the years. My father worked for Dois at PM's and, in what I can only presume to be another example of his life philosophy and strategy sold, on very caring terms, his family's home on Allegheny Road to my parents.
Our time there had a lasting effect on how my brothers and sisters evolved in life, and became who we are. Ya'll are a part of our family story. We share your loss.
