Dorothy CAMDEN Obituary

HAMPTON - Dorothy M. Camden, 83, widow of Emory Camden, died peacefully Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, with her family by her side. Born in Lynchburg she had been a Hampton resident since 1956.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her son, Clifton Camden and wife, Maureen; daughters, Brenda Morrissett and Patricia Watts; sisters-in-law, Nancy Moore, Mary Ann Myrsten, June Camden and Marjorie Camden; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home with interment to follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
