Ed was an inspiration to me as an Australian medical graduate, who had been a foreign exchange student to Iowa when I was 18.
With my wife, Suzanne, we set sail by ship to the U.S. to take up internship in Worcester, Ma, and then took up the the residency position under Ed's guidance!
He introduced us to the life on Chesapeake Bay, Creole food and so much more.!
Ed used to laugh at my Aussie accent, and so did some patients, who thought they needed an interpreter!
As we say here in Aus. " Such is life"!!
What a legacy!
Dennis.

Jeannie, I am so sorry to read about the loss of your father. We lost my mother back in September at the age of 90. I have such fond memories of both your Mom and Dad as we were growing up. I often felt like your parents were surrogate parents to me. Thinking of you and your family during this very difficult time.
