Elisha WATSON Obituary
He was a member of Little Zion Baptist Church in Hampton, Va., and was employed as a retail manager at Save a Lot Grocery Store.
Mr. Watson is survived by his loving wife, Diann Watson; her son, his son, two daughters and three brothers.
Funeral services for Mr. Watson will be held at noon Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Little Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Hallie Richardson Jr., officiating. Interment to follow Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, Va. Viewing for Mr. Watson will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday at C. C. Carter Funeral Home, 3314 Roanoke Ave., Newport News, (formerly known as Gilmore's Funeral Home). Mr. Watson will be placed in the church two hours prior to the service on Wednesday.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Elisha has been a great friend to me and my family for many years. He has always had a kind heart. To his spouse, children, mother and family; Elisha is absent from the body to be present with the Lord. Remember, the Lord promised us that he has many mansions. The Lord goes to prepare a place so that we can have ever lasting life. Elisha will become a guardian angel watching over all of us. Stay strong and believe that he would want all of you to rejoice for his home going to be with the Lord forever.
