I was never a fan of media postings. But I would like to send my sincere sympathy for the passing of a great educator to her family. I love her... I always thought of her present-day especially when I sit down to sew. I caught a glimpse of her celebrating her 90th birthday I thought that was awesome. I try to hunt for info to let her know that I still miss her after all these years. I would ask my family about her who still lives in Hampton, VA. I was told that she had passed. But they weren't should when. I found you...Now that I know... I will miss you forever.

Mrs.Lovette was my favorite teacher and kept in touch with her as long as she re.embered me. She taught me to sew, which has been one of the life skills I use to this very day. I'll always have fond memories of you in my heart and will surely see you again in heaven. Love,

Sympathy to the family. I was in her Home Ec class almost fifty years ago. I still to this day use her yeast roll recipe. She was the best teacher.

I would like to offer my sincerest condolences to Karen, Sharon and the rest of the Lovett family. Mrs. Lovett was a treasure and I loved being in her Home Ec classes. She was so easy to talk to about anything. She was a great teacher - fair, kind, caring and supportive. Sometimes, I would go into her classroom around lunchtime and she would be cooking up something for Mrs. Minkins (Chemistry) and herself.
Once, while I was sweeping up, she asked me, "Who taught you how to sweep?" I thought she was complementing me on my style. I didn't ask why she wanted to know. I'll never know if she was trying to help me do better.
She was one of my top 5 teachers ever. She will be sorely missed. Much love and respect, Mrs. Lovett.

Prayers to the Lovett family in your loss. I had the pleasure of being one of Mrs. Lovetts students in 1981 in her Home Economics Class. I also graduated with Sharon in 1981. As I too worked at the Northampton Branch Library that was on the front of Bethel I got to know alot of the teachers and students. I will think of always when I go by Semple Farm Road as I live off of Saunders Road in Westview Lakes. She was a Gem to all tjat she came to know. She will be greatly missed but know how much she meant to all that she knew. All my love.
