Frances Scott Obituary

CARROLLTON - Frances Batten Scott, widow of Joseph Scott, passed away Aug. 31, 2008 in Sentara Obici Hospital.
She was a member of Campbell Chapel AME Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Jacqueline G. Porter, Vernae S. Burrell (Richard), Rhonda D. Scott, Vanessa G. Scott; a son, Victor J. Scott; sister, Ada Marie Carson; brother, Tilton Brinkley Jr.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at Campbell Chapel AME Church. Interment in the church cemetery. Viewing will be today from 2 to 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour before the funeral at the church.
