Deacon Bond was a joy to know. He was a blessing to me and my cousin, Renee Alston. We worked at Six House together and we all loved every minute of being together. His spirit was so beautiful and loving and kind. I am so glad that I knew him and was loved by him. Rest in peace Deacon Bond! Until we meet again....

TO THE FAMILY OF MR. GEORGE BONDS. MR. BONDS WAS A FRIEND OF MY FAMILY AND A CIRCLE OF FRIENDS THAT WE GREW UP WITH AND LOVED. HE LOVED HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS DEARLY. REMEMBER ALL THE MEMORIES, HOLD THEM IN YOUR HEARTH. HE WAS ALWAYS GIVING U A SPIRITUAL VERSE WHENEVER HE MET U. HE LOVED THE LORD AND HIS FAMILY. AND REMEMBER HE IS NOT DEAD. HE HAS JUST GONE AWAY WITH THE LORD TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR THE ONES THAT HE LOVE. STAY IN THE WORD, PRAISE GOD DAILY AND REMEMBER GOD WILL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEED. HE IS ALWAYS THERE FOR U U DO NOT HAVE TO CALL 911 TO GET HIM JUST CALL HIS NAME.GOD WILL BE THERE TO WIPE ALL YOUR TEARS AWAY. YOUR FAMILY IS IN MY PRAYERS ALWAYS.

Deacon Bond was an exemplary deacon and mentor. He led by example. His invaluable presence helped to positively impact the lives of those with whom he came in contact. He was a tremendous asset to the Sixth Mt. Zion Baptist Temple family. Our prayers are with his family. He will be greatly missed but he has been joyously received in Heaven by our Savior Jesus the Christ. Hallelujah! From Deacon and Ms. Melvin Jones
