George HATCHELL Obituary

MIDLOTHIAN - George Allan Hatchell, of Midlothian, died Sunday, June 5, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll W. Hatchell.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sabina Evans Hatchell; his son, George Allan Hatchell Jr.; his daughter, Katherine Michelle Hatchell; two grandchildren, Ashley and Bryce Hatchell; his mother, Martha Jeffords Hatchell; and brother, Thomas Hatchell, both of Williamsburg, Va.; and his sister-in-law, Wanda Lee Evans of Chesapeake.
George was a 1968 graduate of Virginia Polytechnical Institute and his life's work was that of a civil engineer. George's love of the outdoors lead to his involvement in scouting.
Funeral services private.
