Horace Bellamy Obituary
Preceded in death by his parents and wife, Lillian R. Bellamy; Horace is survived by his sons, Robert H. Bellamy and David M. Bellamy (Susan M.), daughter in love, Carol Dufresne (Tom Skubic); granddaughter, Clara Naglich; great-granddaughter, Alanna J. O'Hara; sister, Iris O. Thompson; cousin, Kathy Foster; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6 PM on Friday, June 25, 2021, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, officiated by Father John Grace. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will be private.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, alz.org or to the Immaculate Conception Church Sunday Supper Ministry, 2150 Cunningham Drive, Hampton, VA 23666.

Sending condolences from Toronto Canada. My father was born in Barbados and was a WWII Pilot and Flying Officer. Horace attended the University of Toronto and I am sharing this memory. I always looked forward to saying hello to him in the front row at Saturday night Mass. I enjoyed our chats. He was quite a gentleman. So loving and caring for his wife before she passed. They are reunited in Heaven! My Deepest Sympathy to the family. He will be missed by many.

Dear Robert, David, Sue & family,
My heartfelt sympathy to all of you on the passing of your Dad (loved one)! He was such an honorable & humble man -
intelligent, yet caring & giving of himself to his family & many. His willingness to use his God-given talents, skills & abilities to help many especially the younger generation & never looking for anything in return was a blessing. My husband (his cousin) looked up to him as a role model & told me it was because of Horace's example as a pilot in the RCAF that he too did the same. I will miss our "phone visits" & his great wisdom. I praise God for the times we all had together & thank each of you for sharing him. May God's truths, & great memories sustain you!

What a blessing to know Mr. Bellamy! He was such a wonderful and amazing soul! A soft voice and compassionate heart with a great sense of humor! He loved to visit the youth group and spend time with them, even playing games when possible! You have blessed us with your presence! Rest in peace, good sir!
