Janice Scott Obituary

GLOUCESTER - Janice Lee Scott, 70, died on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, in Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.
She was a native of Coldwater, Mich., and was employed as a clerk at Walmart in Gloucester.
She is survived by her sons, Tommy Lee Gaskill and Carl Eric Gaskill and his wife, Diana Lynne, all of Gloucester; her sisters, Pat Beak and Betty Stillman; her brothers, Terry Quinn and Jim Quinn; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A private memorial service will be held later.
Memorial donations may be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, 801 Roeder Road, Silver Spring, MD 20910.

Tommy and family,
I'm deeply saddened after hearing the loss of Ms. Janice. She was so kind to me. Her smile would always make mine appear, no matter what kind of day it was. I took care of her beautiful hair for years and will truly miss seeing her. Last Christmas, she gave me a beautiful musical ornament for my tree. I will be honoring her memory and friendship this year when it goes on my tree for the very first time. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless!

Tommy and Eric,
So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Don't know if you remember us but we lived down the lane from you at Gwynns Island. and you used to come to our house to play. I have fond memories of Janice and your scary dogs! She taught me how to make "quick " doughnuts and I still make them to this day..you are both in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
