Jeffrey S. Jessup

Jeffrey Scott Jessup passed unexpectedly and peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2023. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Donna; two devoted sons, Alex (Petra) and Brandon (Casey); precious granddaughter, Chevelle; loving parents, Artie and Charlotte; brother, Ronnie and his devoted companions Desmo, Brodie, and Lola Jeff was a natural athlete. He was a member of the dive team at Kecoughtan High School and finished 2nd in the Diving Competition for the school. He was an avid professional bicycle racer, motorcycle rider and racer. Jeff attended Christopher Newport College, completed the Apprentice Program at Newport News Shipbuilding and worked in the Electrical Design Department. Later he moved to Gibbs & Cox as a designer and traveled the world. Jeff was a man of many talents. He learned how to operate a soundboard for a band without any experience. He knew his way around cars and motorcycles, and he was a wonderful electrician. He was self-taught in many things and was successful at all he attempted. For the last 5 years, he fought an illness with bravery. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at the Zoar Beach Property on Speck Ave., Deltaville, Virginia on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the Celebration of Life will be moved to the Zoar Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Dress is casual; bring a chair, food, and beverage (non-alcoholic). Bring any photos, stories, and memories to share.
