So sorry to hear of John's passing. John was my assistant Pony League baseball coach when I played for the Braves at Anderson Park in the east end. What a great guy and coach. My thoughts and prayers are with John's family in this difficult time. God Bless.

My thoughts and prayers go out to John's family and I share in their grief for the passing of a truly good man. I had the pleasure and honor to work with John many years ago at Noland Company, and I was fortunate to be able to call him my friend. I remember our time together outside of work on the golf course, various social events, and especially a couple of golf trips to the Master's tournament and Hilton Head.
John was always positive and forever supportive of others. He had a quick wit and always had a story to share. He was unfailingly fair and honest but would also be the first to prank or tease his friends. And he could take it as well as dish it out.
John is a true friend who will be sorely missed.
