John Jackosn Obituary

HAMPTON - John Thomas "JT" Jackson quietly and peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. He was born October 9,1934 in Gloucester, VA to the late Willie P. and Mary L. Jackson. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Connie; three daughters, Yvonne D. Jackson and Alfreda Walker (Larry) of Hampton, VA and Shryl Diggs (Roger) of Chesapeake, VA; three sisters, Mary Coles of Phoenix, AZ, Ruth Foster of Los Angles, CA and Shirley Washington of Gloucester, VA; brother, Willie Jackson (Barbara) of Gloucester, VA; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. His homegoing service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in First Baptist Church, Ordinary, VA . Visitation on Monday from 5 - 7 pm at Howard Funeral Home, Ark, VA. Mr. Jackson will lie in state from 12 noon until service time on Tuesday.
