I now have two big regrets in my life. One, that I neglected to check in with Joe to see how he was doing in retirement. The second, is that I missed his funeral service so I could say goodbye. We worked together for 20 years, I at HRSD Electric shop, and Joe, of course at Peninsula Electric. I count him as one of my best friends in my life. I will miss him. RIP buddy.

To the Crosby Family,
I just heard and I'm so sorry to hear that Joe is no longer with us. I knew Joe though the time he was with Peninsula Electric Motor's. Joe was by far the best Salesman on the plant earth, If you needed something he was there in a heart beat. Over the many years and Lunches we spent in conversations I found someone to share meaningful thoughts with. I've had the privilege of seeing Joe after his retiring from PEM, and bring him some N.C sausage which he enjoyed. It saddens me to know that he is gone. Again my deepest sympathy to all the Crosby Family.

So very saddened to hear of Joe's passing. This past summer I was so blessed to have a long conversation with Joe on the phone, and I knew he was dealing with some health issues. I got to know Joe through my job at HRSD. Joe was "the Man" to call when you needed a part or piece of equipment. Joe was always just a phone call away, and never hesitated to come to the plant and personally take a look at a piece of equipment, and quickly get us what we needed. I will never forget when Joe came to my Grandfather's aid after his HVAC failed and in the same day got him up and running again. Joe was a friend to all at HRSD and everyone looked forward to his visits to our Williamsburg plant or talking with him on the phone. My deepest condolences to you Jerry and the entire family and want you to know that Joe will be missed by many of his friends at HRSD and we will cherish his friendship. Joe will live on in our hearts!
