Kathleen Clove Hanrahan

Mrs. Kathleen Clove Taylor Hanrahan, 85, of Hampton, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. She was a resident of Hampton for 58 years. She was a longtime member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, a member of the 7th Diocese of Southern VA Cursillo, clerk for the Newport News Juvenile Domestic Court, cataloger for the Hampton Public Library, seller for Hallmark Cards, and a member of the Class of 1957 at Newport News High School. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband Billy Carlton Hanrahan; parents, Edward Snow Taylor Sr., and Kathleen Ganey-Taylor; brother, James Taylor, and sister, Peggy Hudson. She is survived by her daughter, Tracey Kathleen Hanrahan of Hampton, and son, Patrick Carlton Hanrahan of Kensington, Md.; brothers, Edward Taylor Jr., and Charles Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service officiated by the Rev. Carleton Bakkum will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Altmeyer Riverside Chapel, 7415 River Rd., Newport News. Arrangements by Altmeyer Funeral Homes.
