Uncle Lawrence will be missed my so very many people. Although he was my great uncle, Aunt Betty and he treated me more like a granddaughter and always made their house feel like home when we were there. I will never forget his smiles and teasing demeanor. He always made ya laugh! I can remember from the time I was a very little girl, going to their house in Seaford and going crabbing. They are some of my fondest memories. He would sit in his chair in the living room and look down to the dock to make sure none of us had fallen overboard. I'm sure sometimes he wished we had! He never could have asked for a better wife or caretaker than he had in Aunt Betty. She stayed by his side through every moment. She was (and still is) his angel here on earth. So as we bid a loving farewell to Uncle Lawrence, at least in earthly terms, we tell him, travel safe, enjoy the view, watch over us always and enjoy your new eternal body. We will see you soon. I love you.
