LARRY WELLS
December 1, 2019
I met Marylin last year for the first time - a long lost cousin of my mom Lois Wells who she located and communicated with but never got to meet - but I was able to do so due to my mom's efforts. What a delightful woman! On the one day that I was able to stop by, Marilyn and I talked from 10:00 am till past midnight as if we'd known each other for years. I can only guess what I've missed from not knowing her earlier in life - but I treasure the memories of that day. Having lost my mom two years ago, I can empathize with you Phillip and Richard, your families, and anyone else who knew Marilyn. My heartfelt condolences.

To the entire Gibson Family, My family greaves with your family on the loss of Miss Marilyn. I do remember growing up on Whealton Road and going over to play ball with Chipper, Phillip and seeing Richard as a "little fella" around us. And Miss Marilyn was always in charge of keeping us straight...lol. God bless her and the family.

I was blessed to have this wonderful woman as my mother-in-law. From the moment I met Marilyn, she made me feel so welcome. I cherished our time in Mathews with family and friends. She will be so missed by all of us.

Permit me this opportunity to not only to express my sadness learning of Marilyn's passing but to briefly express how important both your father "Muggsy" and mother were to the Hampton (North Hampton) community until dad's retirement. They were an energetic team in PTA and city wide community service! God Bless your family in this
time of sorrow.

I want to express our condolences to the Gibson sons from my Dad, Skip Weatherford, Sandra Weatherford Laity, and Amy Weatherford Brown. I spoke to my Dad today, who is in a nursing home in South Boston, VA. and he said we sure did have some good times with Muggy and Dick's families. God bless you and your whole family. Love, Sandra Weatherford Laity
