I worked with Marion during the 8 years I worked at the City of Newport News. She was always a bright and Happy Lady. I enjoyed the many talks she and I had. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Marion's passing. I enjoyed knowing she and her family at Ivy Memorial and especially seeing her at the the Johnson & Johnson Circle meetings. May God comfort you all.

To Marion's family,
The Matkins family would like you to know that Marion was such a kind, loving and generous person. She kept our children in the nursery when we lived in Newport News and attended NRBC.She was the first one to our door with dinner when I had to go out of town to be sure my husband had dinner for himself and the kids and I called her my friend. A beautiful person both inside and out.I had not seen her in several years and did not know she was Ill. We are so sorry for your loss but find peace in knowing she is in a better place and will forever watch over us all as she did for so many here on earth.

Even though we have not seen you often over the last fifteen or so years, Marion always made a point of speaking to Carson and I at any of the Robertson's events.
Marion, a generous, loving person, will be greatly missed.

Marion was always such a force of positive energy, love and creativity. Her smile and good will were infectious and always appreciated. I treasure the 5 years we have shared in painting class/studio time. I will miss her.

Marion was a wonderful lady. I saw her right before Christmas at the Cheese Shoppe. As always, she was warm and friendly - taking time to ask about everyone in my family. She was also eager to share all of the great news about her family. She was such a kind and gracious woman. I know she will be missed!
