Mary Glover Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - Mary Ann Glover, 54, departed this life on Friday, May 18, 2007 at Riverside Regional Medical Center. She was a resident of Newport News, Va. She was employed as an assembler at Cannon Virginia, Inc. and retired in May 2006 after 17 years. Mrs. Glover is preceded in death by her parents Izola and Thomas Howell. She is survived by her beloved husband, Claude M. Glover, Jr. of Newport News, Va.; two sons, Eric Marable and Ernest Eugene Howell; two daughters, Stephanie Howell-Johnson and Carol Michelle Glover; two brothers, Jesse and Pernell; four sisters, Carrie, Brenda, Linda and Lavern and many relatives and friends. A funeral service will begin at noon on Wednesday, May 23, at Smith Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, 545 E. Mercury Blvd, Hampton, with the Rev. Louis Jones, officiating. Interment will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, Va. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Viewing will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 22 at Smith Brothers Funeral Home. Arrangements by Smith Brothers Funeral Home, Hampton – 723-4117. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.
