Michael Shuart Obituary
Shuart, Michael B. of Bath NY passed away, unexpectedly, on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at the age of 57. Michael was born September 27, 1957 in Bath NY, a son to Robert and Patricia Staley Shuart. He lived all his life in the Bath area.
Michael was pre-deceased by his brothers-in-law, David Miller and Charles "Dick" Miller.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Tina Shuart; sons, Shane Shuart and Cruz Shuart all of Bath, NY; parents, Robert and Patricia Shuart of Hammondsport, NY; brother, Marc Shuart of Bath, NY; grandchildren, Arianna, Bryson and Cadence; and several in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Michael was a graduate of Haverling Central School, a veteran with the US Navy and US Army Reserve, for over 20 years. He worked as a correctional officer at the Steuben County Jail for over 28 years. Michael also enjoyed watching movies, baseball and football with his son Cruz and attending concerts with his family.
The family will welcome relatives and friends to Bond-Davis Funeral Home, 107 East Steuben St., Bath, NY on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 3-5PM. Michael's Funeral Service will be held at the Bath Presbyterian Church, 6 Pulteney Square, Bath, NY on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11AM with Rev. Dr. Stanley Bhasker and Rev. Dr. David Barnard.
Michael's Gravesite Services, with military honors, will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery immediately following.

I remember when Mike and Tina first met, while we lived at my grandparents home, like it was yesterday... They loved and pursued each other so... Tina had her charcoal grey Firebird that Mike liked to drive... They would quietly snuggle on the floor, in my grandparents living room in front of the stereo listening to music down low... Today, I am heartbroken for this sudden and tragic loss. I Pray that God's peace take away the pains soon, for the family & friends, and especially for deep healing in many forms for Aunt Tina, you are like a sister to me, cousins Shane & Cruz, and Mike's parents Robert & Patricia, and his brother Marc. God bless you. I love you all.

To a uncle who will be missed so very much! We will take good care of aunt Tina, Shane and Cruz. I will keep all the fun memories close to my heart, the concerts, watching tv while I helped aunt Tina wrap Christmas presents, and coming over to hang out. So many memories over my life.

I remember Mike as part of a singing trio that included Bob Headley and Joe Baroody, who broke into song at Pudgies whenever "Blackwater" played on the jukebox. He was always so shy otherwise, but always so nice... My thoughts are with all of his friends who stayed close, and with his family, whom I know will miss him very much.

Our prayers to Tina and family as well as his Mom, Dad and brother Marc. We had great times as we grew up together. The camp outs in the back yard, boating on Keuka Lake and the many activities we did. Mike always had a smile and I was proud to say he was our friend.
