Michael THURMAN Obituary
He is survived by two brothers, Ralph and Gary; daughter, Carrie; son, Ryan; granddaughter, Alexis; and niece, Amanda.
Michael touched many hearts and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
His memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Huntington Park. Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate his life. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

Carrie, I wanted to tell you how truly sorry I am that your father has passed away. Even though I have never met you, your father spoke of you frequently and his face always lit up like a Christmas tree. I will never forget him. He had such a kind heart and was so taken back that a perfect stranger would extend him a hand to help him. He was very grateful and I have no regrets that God brought me to him.

I am very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. It has been a long time. I lived on Patrician Drive in the 60s and remembered Mike,Gary and Ralph. Just wanted to let you know I remembered you guys and express my condolences.

I have alot of good memories of Micheal. He would call me at yellow cab to go to Stevie and Paul from nannies house. He would always have a positive and happy attitude. that big pretty smile and sweet laugh. i felt very Blessed a few weeks ago when I spent some time with him at the hospital. He knew the end was coming sooner than he wanted it too, but he had a great sense of peace and assurance in his mind, heart, and soul that his spirit would be going with JESUS. He struggled but made the best of all situtions. Micheal will be greatly missed by all of us who loved him. We will take our fond memories and things he taught us, his love in our hearts to finish our journey here on this earth, he will be smiling down upon us and one day in heaven, we will see him again. May GOD BLESS You All and Keep You in HIS Love,

michael was a dear friend to my mother and was a "light" to her when she needed someone to uplift her spirits. I am saddened by the loss of a man whom had the ability to make others feel better when he faced his own trials. anyone who had the priveledge of meeting michael was better for it. my condolences to his family. tina
