Dad:
It's been 15 years since you left us, and I miss you more than ever. I know you are in a much better place than those of us who are still here. You are now with Mom, Alan, and Debby. It won't be long now, and I will be reunited with all of you.
Your loving daughter,
Katy

Dear Kay, Kelly, and Debbie, Your Dad was such a great Dad and Grandad. He loved all his girls very much. Kay, I will always remember him calling you every night and ending your conversation saying "I love you". I know you will all miss him deeply, but he is in a far better place at peace with your Mom looking down on you. We will miss him too.

Kay, Kelly and Deb: Your loss is very great but the memories are better. Being a friend of Kay's and Kelly, he made me feel like I was part of your family. He was an honorable man and you can see that in Kay, Kelly and Deb. My love and prayers are with you. Kay, thank you so much for the times I was part of family events and especially being there when the proud Grandparents let me share in the joy of their special little Kelly. Rest in peace Mr. Rimmer, and thank you.

Dad and Mom Rimmer, I have missed you deeply. You both created a wonderful family and maintained an open-door household in which countless young persons felt warmly welcome; I among those.
Dad, you were an American hero. I know you are now in your well-deserved reward, reunited with your beautiful Jewel. Your memory will endure on Earth, while your love will endure eternally.

Uncle Bud was a special uncle. He was such a family man and loved his family a lot. But now he is not suffering and is with his wonderful Judy as well as my parents and Aunt Bee.
He WILL be missed.

Sorry to hear about Bud. I worked with him at the Post Office and often remember some of the good times we had. After retirement we kept in touch with emails. He often said how much he missed his wife and how much he loved his family. Sure will miss him.
Once again ,my condolences to your family.

Growing up, your parents' house was almost a second home for me. I remember how much Mr. Rimmer loved his daughters and how proud he was of them. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Tom Brokaw wrote in his 1998 book The Greatest Generation, "this is the greatest generation any society has produced." He argued that the men and women fought not for the fame and recognition, but because it was the right thing to do. When they came back they rebuilt America into a Superpower.
I never met “Bud” Rimmer … I knew him, however through his daughters and through his contributions to America. I, we, are beneficiaries of his patriotic lifestyle and the effects of his steadfast, sacrificial and procreant living. Thank you sir - indeed, may you now rest in peace.
