To the Family of Penny Foxworth:

Ms Foxworth taught my son in the fourth grade at Yorktown Elementary School almost 4 years ago. We are both saddened by her death. She was a wonderful teacher and friend. Brian had a wonderful time in her class and learned a lot. F.R.O.G. was something she enstilled in each of the children she taught and I'm sure it will stay with them forever. I know that it has with Brian. She helped to mold Brian into a wonderful student always giving him the extra attention he needed to feel good about himself. She truly is and will always be an angel. I will truly miss her.

To the family and friends of Ms. Foxworth,

Ms. Foxworth was my fifth grade teacher for a few months last fall and she taught me the real meaning of F.R.O.G. I moved away to live in Japan with my family and she called me in April before I left the country. She is now an angel in heaven watching over all of us! I miss her!

Dear Mykea and Michael K,
Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to each one of you. Penny was such a precious person. She was truly an inspiration to me. She was one of the most creative people I have ever known- remembering the good times when you all were kids in Greenwood Park and when Michael K had the most unique and darling scarecrow costume for Halloween. Nice to know that you, Mykea and Julie were great friends in school and now Suzanne and Mykea are good friends. Cherish all the wonderful memories and know that Penny's loving spirit will always be with you all. Sorry we cannot be with you today, but know our thoughts and prayers are.
With love,
Joyce & Freddie Grice

Mykea,

How shocked we were to read of your mother's death in the Richmond Times Dispatch. I have searched all day to try to verify that it was really her. We still remember the good times we had with your family when you lived in Halifax, VA. Remember starting kindergarten with Jill. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and Michael K. and your families at this time.

Dear Mykea,

My heart broke yesterday when Suzanne called to tell me the news about your mom. She is such a beautiful person inside and out, and I know that Heaven is a much better place with her there!
I have such fond memories of her from Greenwood Park to playing in the tide pools at the beach with sunburned backs to high school. And I want you to know that one of Madeline and MaryGrace's favorite dishes is Buttered Noodles, a recipe that I inherited from her. :-)
Please know that although I can not be there in person, I am there in spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family today and in the days ahead. May you find peace and comfort in the wonderful memories.

Much love,
Julie Grice Chandler
