Rashed Caudle Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - Rashed Caudle departed this life Aug. 9, 2003, at the age of 20. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Angela Caudle; father, Robert Borden (Lavern); grandmother, Hattie Caudle; three brothers, Omar Caudle, Robert Nelson Banks (Cherry), Tyshawn Borden; two sisters, Shana and Tasha Borden; his aunts, Phyllis Hill, Patricia Borden Caudle; uncles, Melvin Bryant (Juanita), Douglas Caudle, Samuel Caudle (Elaine), James Caudle (Kim), Michael Caudle, Marvin Borden, Forest Craft and Raymond Borden. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Ivy Baptist Church, 50 Maple Ave. Viewing will be from noon to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pleasant Shade Cemetery. Arrangements by Gilmore's Funeral Home.

I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT I MISS RASHED VERY MUCH AND I KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY ONE HE IS MY BIG BROTHER AND I CAN JUST REMBER WHEN WE WHERE LITTLE AND HE USED TO COME OVER MY HOUSE AND I USED TO GET ON HIS NERVES I WISH HE WAS STILL HERE SO I CAN GET ON HIS NERVES BUT HE IS NOT I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THAT HE IS NOT HERE BUT HE IS NOT AND I JUST WANT THE CAUDLE FAMILY AND THE BORDEN FAMILY TO KNOW THAT HE IS IN GOOD HANDS NOW.

To the Caudle family,

I really didn't know Rashed but, I do know how it feels to have lost some in your family who has past at such a young age..Its a shame that they have to go so soon..My deepest sympathy are with you and your family at this time...Always remember the good times that you and your family shared with him...He's up in heaven with his maker smiling and more then likely cracking jokes...Don't remember how he passed remember what he stood for and who he was as a person...Just dont let his memory go because a MAN HAS NEVER DIED UNTIL HE IS FORGOTTEN...So, as long as his memory lives inside of you he will always be around.
