Homer & family... it is with great sorrow that I read this morning of Sally's passing. Words cannot express how much she meant to me and I know to you as well... You will be in my thoughts and in my prayers.

Dear Homer,Words do not express the shock I received when I got call. Sally was a true love and we enjoyed life together in many ways and had fun doing it. I always remember runing the streets of Nice with our bags on top of your luggage because you had wheels and ours did not. Our lunches and dinners were always fun We will miss this great lady and will never forget her. Our prayers are with you .keep going she wouldwant it that way. love Ruth and Jim.

Homer, I always check the Independent on the web site in the morning before I leave for my part time job. How sad I was at work today thinking of all the things Sally and I did while growing up and when grown up. (If actually we ever grew up) I wrote a couple e-mails asking how she was feeling after I heard of the spots on her lungs but never got a reply. I hope she went peacefully. I will truly miss her at our next reunion. I am so glad she was part of my life. God gave me the greatest gift in a friend like Sally. I only wish we would have been able to spend time together in our older years, but when you live in two different states that isn't always possible. Please take care Homer, I know she loved you very much......
