Sally Whitby Obituary
Her life began on Feb. 12, 1922, the daughter of the late Josephine and Oscar Harrold, of York County, Va. She was a faithful member of the Williamsburg Congregation, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She retired from Master's Cleaners, after many years of service.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her daughter, Joyce A. Whitby; her sisters, Hazel M. Brown and Margaret E. Williams, all of Williamsburg; her brother, Owen Harrold, of Newport News; her five grandchildren; her 11 great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Alease Harrold; and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, in Whiting's Chapel with Elder Robert Engels. Family and friends will assemble by 12:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

TO MY AUNT SALLY, SHE WAS ALWAYS IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. I HAVE NOT SEEN HER IN ABOUT 10 YEARS I KNOW SINCE DADDY PASSED. TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD. WE LOVED HER BUT GOD LOVED HER BEST. I CANNOT BE WITH YOU ALL ON FRIDAY BUT I AM PRAYFULLY THINKING ABOUT THE FAMILY .

Ms. Whitby was a lovely person that I was fortunate enough to meet. I was saddened by her death but know that in heaven she hears and speaks with ease.
