Samuel Johnson Obituary
He was retired from HRSD after 30 years. Sam loved to deer hunt.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Johnson; two sons, David Archer and Roscoe Archer IV; daughter, Kimberly Roberts; six grandchildren, Stephanie, Ross, Sam, Dylan, Hayley and Jeremy; three sisters, Gwen Jenkins, Martha Midgett and Linda Randall; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services officiated by the Rev. Roger D. Johnson will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

Jules, we are so deeply saddened by sammy's departure. we will miss his laughter and jokes and smiles in the office. He was with out a doubt a true character.
