To Shawns amazing family, thank you for always welcoming me and mine into your wonderful, fun family! The love you have for each other and your extended family members is never ending and unconditional. I met Shawn when he was 22 and have always felt love and acceptance from each and everyone of you. I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart!
You are a strong family. Been through many ups and downs and always surviving through the worst and celebrating the best.
Thats how all of us will get through this, through strength, love and the admiration we all share for our beloved Shawn.
Shortly after I spoke with Dawn on the phone, I heard a motorcycle slowly pass by my home. It sounded like Shawns. I didnt get up and look, I just sat there picturing him riding by.
Shawns sense of humor was one of his greatest gifts, among many. Ill never forget how he could tell a story, his beautiful smile, his dimpled smirk and those blue eyes! Ive never met anyone quite like him, so unique, strong, FUNNY, loving and caring. Thats what makes his passing to soon and so hard, but he is still making me smile!
With love, Edye

Shawn was my hero, my dear sweet friend. He was loyal, dependable, & oh so trustworthy. To a fault sometimes, helping friends with whatever they needed, even when he maybe shouldn't. He had a heart so so big & fiercely protective of those he loved. I don't know if he ever realized the depth of how much he & Debbie helped me on the worst night of my life, both staying up with me all night, that is why he's my hero, supporting me until I could see a light at the end of my tunnel.
He is one to be remembered, cherished, & held very near. I will carry his heart in mine & I will track him down in heaven!
Thank you, my artist friend, for all the love & especially the laughter!
Till we meet again.
I love you, always have, always will.
