In loving memory of a wonderful person we will cherish the memories of a life well lived. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories growing up as best friends since childhood helps me to cope may the Roberson & Custis family take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Praying for the family
December 27, 2015
Mom, my heart is deeply saddened but at the same time comforted knowing you are resting in God's loving arms. From the moment we met, you were the kindest, and most loving person. You were right there for me the day Chauniece was born and ever since. I'll never forget the genuine love you've always shown my family. I will forever miss your smile, your laugh, and your love. Rest in Paradise my Beautiful Angel.
To Jimmie, Timmie, Anthony, and the entire Roberson and Custis families; I pray God will continue to bring you peace and comfort during your time of sorrow. Your family has been through so much and you have our sincerest condolences.
Love Vernetta, Chauniece, Corey, Crystal, Zymeir and the Hollier Family

Another angle gone home. No more pain and no more sorrow only happiness for your future tomorrow's. You fought a good fight and you ran a good race now you earned the privilege to see God face to face. To our family you were a jewel, A solider, A guiding light . We will truly miss you but we know you couldn't miss this flight. What a happy reunion you all must be having up there, don't forget to tell my mother and the others how much we still care.I hope it brings you peace to know that in your absence the Custis descendants will still unite and hold the family together until the end of our fight. So rejoice with the Angles giving God his praise and we hope to see you again Aunt Shirley at the end of our days.
Lovingly your niece Jeanette

Ms. Shirley you will be deeply missed. I will miss our talks and visits on Sundays when I would come with your son Jay and we just laugh and talk for hours. You were always in good spirits no matter how you felt. Your smile was worth more than a million dollars. You will always remain in my heart and thoughts. You have now collected you heavenly wings. You are now with God. Rest in Paradise your work here on earth is done.
