I am sorry to hear about Mr. Ricks recent passing. It was a pleasure to handle his claim recently. Although I did not meet him personally, he seemed to be a very nice man when we spoke and I am sure he will be missed. Again, I wish to offer my deepest sympathy to each of you.

My heart was truly sadden when I read the paper today. Mr Ricks was a man of men. Someone to pattern your life after. A family man that truly loved his wife. Mrs. Ricks, I wanted you to know that I appreciate you for the times we have talked and for the encouraging words you would give. This was one day that I longed for Lawrence to called, because I know how he felt about you and Mr. Ricks. My prayers are with you and your family at this time.
We know that there is nothing to hard for God. He is a God that never makes mistakes. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy truly will come in the morning.

Aunt Smittie, Skippy, Laverne and Tony,
I just want you to know how this saddens my heart. I think back to all of the good times we had when our families were together. Although it had been years since I saw Uncle Sidney last, there will be a void knowing he is not here with us any longer. Just know that I do know and understand your pain after the loss of my dad.
