I had the pleasure of being one of the many dialysis nurses to care for Steve. We loved him dearly. His love and faith for God and his family was immeasurable. He was a strong young man from beginning to end, and will always hold a special place in our hearts. "Let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance and that sin which so readily clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us." Hebrews 12:1. Steve has ran the race, and now rests with the Father he loved so dearly. We will be sorely missed.

I knew Steve from high school. Even tho we attended different schools we had a close group of friends. I was proud to have him as one my groomsmen in my wedding. I'm glad he got to see his "buckeyes" when a title this past year. We talked this past June and laughed at the memories of going to UNC games. There is a quote that reminds me of him......."kindness is like snow, everything it touches it makes it beautiful!"........thanks for being one of the kindest people I have known. Love you Lowel!

Like many of you, I have fond memories of Steve from choir at Bethel. What a sweet, sweet voice! I hope Steve is singing in heaven's choir, because his gift was truly from up above! Praying for God's comfort and peace for family and friends.

Steve and I were in choir together from Jr. High through high school. He had a sweet and strong beautiful tenor voice, and I remember him as forever smiling. My condolences to his family and close friends - gone too soon.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, I pray Gods Grace and peace will be with you during this time. I sang "More than Wonderful" with Steve many years ago at Bethel Temple, he had a beautiful voice that I will here one day again when it's my time to leave this earth. God Bless and be with you.

I could listen to Steve sing all day long. He had the most beautiful tenor voice. He always had a smile. He will be greatly missed, but I know the angels are enjoying his singing.

Steve and I first met in elementary school and recently became friends again via Facebook. Steve had the kindest heart, always encouraging and never hesitated to express his love of God. He positively touched many lives and will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers to Steve's family.

Steve was a great guy. Mark and I have many happy memories of him. He touched us with his humor, singing talent, and friendship. We can't help but smile just thinking of him. Steve was one of my best friends growing up, and I feel blessed to have known him. I have many memories of him and they all involve happiness and laughter. His brothers, his sister, and the rest of his family and loved ones are in my prayers, but I find solace in knowing that he knew Jesus....and when he left this place he met a Savior that also knew him. I look forward to seeing Steve again.
