Tracy Ayers Obituary

Tracy Lee Ayers, 51, of Gloucester, VA passed away December 22, 2018 due to a tragic accident working side by side with his wife. He was the owner of Ayers Towing for over thirteen years. Tracy loved his car collection and enjoyed watching WWE wrestling. He had a heart of gold and loved his family and friends. Tracy loved the Lord with all his heart. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." He was preceded in death by his father Dewey Ayers. Tracy is survived by his wife Lora Ayers; three daughters Hope Ayers, Brittany Smith (Joey) and Shannon Ayers; step-son Justin Horsley; mother Joan Ayers; grandchildren Natalee, Zoey, Rory and Rylee; and six siblings.A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 30th at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, VA 23181. Interment will follow in Shackelfords Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to Gospel Lighthouse Worship Center, PO Box 492, Shacklefords, VA 23156.
