Vanessa Morris Obituary

HAMPTON - Vanessa Dale Evans Morris, 50, passed away July 22, 2003. Born in Hampton, July 20, 1953, she was a graduate of York High School and attended NSU. She was an LPN employed by Coliseum Park Nursing Home. She was a member of True Vine Church of Jesus. Predeceased by her mother, Nellie Evans, she is survived by father, Samuel Evans; husband, James Morris and daughter, Samantha; brother, Jessie Blount Jr. (Sandra) and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Viewing from noon to 7 p.m. Friday, July 25, at Cooke Brothers Chapel.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Vanessa. She was a school friend that I am sorry to say I lost track of in the rush of daily life.
