Survivors are his wife Sylvia Van Liew Brickhouse; daughters, Deborah Brickhouse, Lisa Brickhouse Kelly and her husband Mike; stepson Dennis Hancock; grandchildren, Elizabeth Stella Barbrey, John A. Presgraves, Jr. and his wife Brooke, Courtney Garrett and her husband Justin, Eric Rutter; great-grandchildren, Kyla Lawson, Zachary Presgraves, Lyla Presgraves and Vesper Rutter; and many cousins all over the country.

The family would like to thank the CVT staff and physicians of Riverside Regional Medical Center for the care and attention to Bill and his family.

We were so very sorry to hear of Bill's unexpected passing. Bill was always very kind and he will be remembered for his deep love of his family and pets, as well as his quick wit and jokes. We will be praying for him and his whole family in this time of grief and sadness. This picture of a fun day at Busch Gardens with AJ and Courtney (about 17 years ago) is how we will remember Bill.
