Margaret Elaine Henderson-Anderson, 60 years old, and a long-time resident of the Charlottesville area, passed away in the early morning of Saturday, October 21, 2017, at her home, she shared with her husband, Dan Larry Anderson. She was born on January 12, 1957, to both late Harry James Henderson Sr. and Ethel Lee Henderson of Charlottesville, Va. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her cat, Mr. Wiggles, she thought of as her very own child; and her brothers, Edward Johnson and Harry James Henderson Jr. She is survived by her husband, Dan Larry Anderson of Charlottesville, Va.; two brothers, Michael Johnson and his wife, Sandra Johnson of Schuyler, Va. and Samuel Henderson of Charlottesville, Va.; two nieces, Chiquay Burton of Charlottesville, Va. and Sheanell Scott and her husband, Christopher Scott of Gainesville, Va.; nephew, Christopher Henderson of Petersburg, Va.; and two great-nephews, Royal and Josiah Burton of Charlottesville. Although she and her husband never had biological children together, she viewed his as her own; so also to cherish her memory are daughter, Stacy Washington and her partner, Shanika Howard; sons, Domonic Lewis, Andre Lewis, Maurice Lewis, and Lamont Lewis, all of Charlottesville, Va.; grandchildren, Qwasean Lewis, Kaisiem Lewis, Alexis Hill, Destinee McDonald, Queen Booker, and Kalib Edgehill; great-grandchildren, Zhiloh Lewis and Karmin Welch; and a host of other relatives and friends. Homecoming services will be held 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at First Baptist Church, 632 West Main Street, Charlottesville, Va. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, 1701 Chesapeake St, Charlottesville, Va. 22902. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the services. The family would like to thank the Staff at UVA Medical Center, Continuum Home Healthcare and Charlottesville Health and Rehab for their help and support with Margaret's care in and outside of the healthcare facilities and would also like to thank the staff at J.F.
