Ann Kemp Obituary

Ann Louise Staton Kemp, 69, of Charlottesville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 21, 2008, after a long battle with cancer.

Born March 23, 1939, in Albemarle County, the daughter of the late Walter H. Staton and Virginia Louise Staton Harris.

Ann loved to cook, bake and read. She retired from Coyne and Delaney Company as an accountant for 40 years.

Survivors include a son, Jeffery Wayne Kemp, address unknown; three brothers, Shelton S. Staton and Gail of Lake Monticello, William H. Staton and Carol of Winchester and Richard Staton and Jamie of Sterling, Virginia.

An was loved and taken care of until the end by a close friend, Belinda.

Remains will be taken care of by the Cremation Society of Virginia. There are no calling hours or services at the request of Ann. Burial will be at Monticello Memory Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Albemarle Rescue Squad.
