Beatrice Stargell Obituary
Beatrice Arlene Stargell, 81, passed on Monday, November 1, 2021, at her home on Chincoteague Island, Virginia. Bea was preceded in death by her father, Carlton Stinson; mother, Sadie Worley; stepfather, Benjamin Worley; brother, Maynard Stinson; and life companion, Richard Dowd.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Farrish (David Ragland); stepson, Bruce Dowd (Mary Jo); son-in-law, Mike Farrish (Brenda); granddaughters, Megan Carroll (Daniel Braxton), and Amanda Savage (Pete Savage); great-granddaughter, Jaiden Carroll; sister-in-law, Shelby Palmer (Butch); nephews, Shannon Stinson (Sandy), and Steven Stinson (Kristie); great-nephew, Josh Stinson; great-nieces, Gracie and Madison Stinson; and a host of dear friends and "bonus"grandchildren.
Bea served her community for over 50 years at Bruce's Drug Store in Scottsville, Virginia. She was the matriarch of her family and her "girls" will miss her love of life, ability to make everyone feel at home, humor and above all else, her love.
Bea's celebration of life will be held at the home of Jason and Jennifer Farrish, 3796 Glenmore Road, Scottsville, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

All that knew her was blessed to have gotten the chance !
She was a very gentle and very sweet woman .
