I knew Bob from his many trips to Akumal with Paula. There was a stabilizing calmness about Bob. He was an understated man though I knew a bit about his life´s work. But that really came into focus when I watched the memorial concert. So many people he unselfishly helped. My condolences to Paula and his family. May he rest in peace.

Bob was a great man, no doubt about it. I knew him personally so I can say that. Extremely kind and funny, smart and inspirational. Very modest and not stuck up. He saw the value in people including the “little guy”.
I miss him and he is missed by many people. Have met no one like him.

Bobby you did so much for so many. It was always my great pleasure to see you around, say hello and share a hug. People felt special in your presence, when you spoke it was always gems falling in a language only you spoke; always from the heart, honest, vulnerable, quick-witted, and suffering no fools. Onstage, backstage, at the table or in the basement, the pleasure was mine. Your dedication to experiencing life in all its myriad moments, always on the sunny side, will not soon be forgotten. You’ve earned it brother, rest and know how very loved and appreciated you are.
