Dear Deborah, Andrew & Peter,
We are so saddened to hear about the loss of David to this world. I will miss chatting with him at the top of our street. He was such a kind soul. May he rest in peace your family find comfort in his memories.

I was a law editor at the Michie Company from 1980 to 1988, when David was editor-in-chief and later president. I was a recent law school graduate, more into editing than lawyering, so it was a perfect fit for me. David was unfailingly kind and thoughtful and was truly an inspiring and admirable leader. I offer my heartfelt condolences to his family.
