Ellen Frampton Obituary

Ellen George Frampton, widow of William Frampton III of Keswick died Thursday, July 5, 2007, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

She was born in Richmond, Virginia, on December 13, 1918, to Anne Stanwood and Henry H. George.

She was raised in Keswick and attended St. Anne's School and St. Catherine's School in Richmond. She also attended Sweet Briar College.

Mrs. Frampton is survived by her sister, Phillipa Bowers of Charlottesville; and by two daughters, Anne Vanderwarker and her husband, Tony, of Keswick, and Richie Vanderwarker and her husband, Peter, of West Newton, Massachusetts.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, Bryan, Keith, Kristen, Vandy, Christopher, and Amy; and two great - grandchildren, Will and Sophie Mei.

A memorial service at Grace Episcopal Church, 5607 Gordonsville Road (VSH 231), will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 200.

Hill and Wood Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Grace Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 43, Keswick, VA 22947.
