Frances Sprouse Obituary
In addition to her mother, she leaves to cherish her memory a husband, David Spouse Jr.; four sons, Kenneth Maupin, Kyle (Kara) Maupin, David Lee (Lauren) Sprouse III, and Justin Sprouse; and three daughters, Kristin Miller, Elizabeth Sprouse, and Hailey Sprouse. She was predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer Renee Maupin. She is, also, survived by a brother, Bradley Knight and a sister, Joyce (Larry) Shifflett. She had 13 grandchildren, Makenzie, Conner, Chelsea, Ethan, Brayden, Amberle, Brett, Anthony, Palmer, Khylie, Madysen, Loghan, Nevaeh; as well as two aunts, Ruby Shifflett and Ida (Ken) Smith; one uncle, Larry Knight; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A service to celebrate and honor Frances' life will be held at the Nortonsville Church of God Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 2 until 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation in her honor to the Nortonsville Church of God, 1504 Simmons Gap Road, Dyke, VA 22935, or The Hospice House, 501 Park Street, Charlottesville, VA 22911.

I had the privilege of working alongside Frances at Martha Jefferson House years ago. She was always "one of the good ones" doing back-breaking work for low wages strictly because of her love and devotion to the elderly in our community. I've never known a finer caregiver than Frances. My heart goes out to her family as I know the hole she leaves behind is beyond cavernous.

We were so sorry to hear of Frances´s passing. She fought a courageous fight. Sometimes the Lord heals us here on earth and sometimes he takes us home to heaven to heal.
