Helen Faulconer Obituary
Helen graduated High School in Olive Hill Kentucky and attended Morehead State College and The University of Kentucky. After a family move to Orange, Va., she was employed by Young Equipment Co. After marriage she became a homemaker and together, they operated a dairy, "Huntsman's Rest" on Monrovia Rd. Orange. Later moving to Charlottesville to join the family Construction business. Helen never met a stranger and was a friend and mother to all. She was a great cook and a wizard on a telephone. A most even tempered and gentle woman, she served others Biblically, and volunteering among other places at 1st Presbyterian preschool and the Martha Jefferson Hospital Auxiliary. She was a past member of Unionville Christian Church.
Helen is survived by her sons, Walter E. "Buzz" Faulconer Jr. and E. Garland Faulconer, both of Charlottesville; granddaughters, Rachel Anne Hinkle and husband, Ethan of Greenville, S.C. and Regan Elizabeth Faulconer of Austin, Texas; great-grandsons, Hunter Faulconer Hinkle and Griffin Lee Hinkle of Greenville; a special niece, Lena Lyn Gill of Orange Va.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family would like to thank the residents and Staff of Morningside Assisted Living for their friendship and care of our Mom and Dad.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Rhoadesville Church Cemetery. After the service, a time of fellowship will be held in the church social hall.

Aunt Helen was so warm and loving. She knew how to make this little niece feel special. Love and hugs to my cousins and their families. Aunt Helen will be greatly missed.
