Henry Harlow Obituary

Henry Patrick Harlow Jr.

March 14, 1951 - September 17, 2025

Henry Patrick Harlow Jr., 74, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. He was born in Charlottesville on March 14, 1951 and raised by his grandparents, Emma and Asbury Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Paula Harlow; his daughter, Katie Harlow and her partner, Aditya Singh of Charlottesville; grandson, Brant Stanley, his fiancée, Mary Adkins, and their daughter, Ivy, of Ruckersville and mother-in-law, Agnes Garver of Charlottesville. Henry graduated from Lane High School and was soon employed at State Farm Insurance Regional Office. He retired in 2006 after a 37 year career in Data Processing and Administrative Services. An avid sportsman, Henry enjoyed fishing, playing softball, basketball, golfing and bowling. Weekends were spent watching collegiate sports, professional golf and MMA matches. He loved all animals but had a real soft spot for his cats, Flash and Skye; and dog, Jada.

The family will receive friends at Teague Funeral Home on Sunday, October 5th from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Fluvanna County SPCA (https://www.fspca.org/donate), Wildlife Center of Virginia (https://support.wildlifecenter.org/give) or your favorite animal charity.
