Joshua Houchens Obituary
He is survived by his mother and father, Wanda Lou Morris and James Layton Morris; his sister, Rebecca Houchens-Thacker, and her husband, Logan Thacker who Josh considered his "bro", and many cousins. He is also survived by his four nieces, Chasity Houchens (18) and her fiancé, Samantha Applegate (29), Jasmine Houchens (15) of Ruckersville, Virginia, and Sariyah Mills (14) of Charlottesville, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his two grandmothers, Dorris Vernon of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Betty Houchens of Albemarle County, Virginia; along with his aunt, Maria Louise Morris also of Albemarle County, Virginia.
Joshua was a free spirited man who often enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table with his mom and dad talking all day. He was an artist and had a passion for drawing and tattooing. He loved spending time on his computer playing video games with his niece Jasmine and many online gaming friends. Joshua was a very kindhearted soul, and he will be missed dearly by many.
The family will be doing a cremation and are not accepting friends and family at this time.
Ryan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Such heart breaking news to hear... I will miss him greatly...I met Josh on World of Warcraft and I will always cherish the memories. Thank you Josh for making me laugh...May you rest in peace my friend... Prayers to Josh, family, and friends..
