Thomas Aubrey KentThomas Aubrey Kent, 78, of Louisa, VA. passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 surrounded by his family.He was born on July 11, 1936, in Albemarle County to the late Aubrey and Effie Kent. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Joyce Mawyer, Dorothy Mawyer and Ann Fischer.He is survived by his wife, Audrey, of 55 years, two daughters, Barbara Madison and husband Mike, Scarlet Kresge and husband Rick, one son, Brian Kent and wife Missy and two grandchildren, Haley and Nic Kent. He is also survived by one sister, Grace Smith and her husband Bill.Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked in the automotive parts sales for over 51 years.One of his greatest joys was his involvement with Little League baseball.The family extends their appreciation to Dr. Gregory Doull, physicians and staff of the University of Virginia Cardiac Unit and the Hospice of the Piedmont.There will be a graveside service at Holly Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2015.The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA. 22911.
