Mary Arrington Obituary
She was married in 1947 to her high school sweetheart and soul mate, Gene, in Norfolk where they lived for several years before moving to Charlottesville, Va., where they stayed until both of their deaths. Mary Ann will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed dearly.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Lee Sadler (Lindsay) and Lori Hall (David). She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jon Sadler, Angie and Jeff Cockman, Crystal and James Akers, Cierra Hall and Drew Hall, as well as eight great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson.
The family wishes to express deep gratitude to English Meadows of Crozet, Va and Hospice of the Piedmont Northridge of Charlottesville for their excellent care and compassion for Mary Ann during her final year of life.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023, 11 a.m. at Monticello Memory Gardens, officiated by Dr. J. Lindsay Sadler Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to FCA-UVA, P.O. Box 8290, Charlottesville, VA 22906.

Mary Ann and Gene were so gracious to us when we moved to Charlottesville in 1985 to work in UVa Athletics. We are so thankful the Good Lord put them both in our lives. We'd be at the graveside service except for a schedule conflict. May the family be comforted at this time.
