Romula Addington Obituary

Romula Joan Moeller Addington, 93, of Charlottesville, died July 19, 2005, at a local hospital.

Born May 6, 1912, Council Bluffs, Iowa, she was the daughter of Herman F. and Belle Guilford Moeller. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leondus Addington, and her brother, Virgil L. Moeller.

She was a member of the Maple Grove Christian Church. Her primary interests were sewing and flower gardening.

Survivors includes her three sons, Ronald J. Addington and his wife, Betty, of Chantilly, Norman P. Addington and his wife, LaVerne, of Earlysville, and Gary W. Addington of Schuyler; four grandchildren, J. Shawn Addington of Lexington, Rhonda K. Cason of Ruckersville, Gregory P. Addington and Brian W. Addington, both of Charlottesville; 10 great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Addington, Michael Addington, Timothy Addington, Matthew Addington, Brandon Addington, Cody Addington, Skyler Addington, Lauren Addington, Daniel Cason and Matthew Cason; two nephews and seven nieces.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today, July 21, 2005, at Hill and Wood Funeral Home.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2005, at Monticello Memory Gardens, with Mr. Roger Browning officiating.
