I'm really sorry for your loss. Riding to practice at Scott stadium one day in Dale's car I remember getting "pulled over" by a police car only to hear a friendly voice and see a father pat his son on the back. Could this have been him?

David and Dale and all of Sloane family- I just returned to town and learned of the tragic death of Mac. I learned to know him countless years ago and have seldom met a man who had so many friends, mainly because he was so full of life himself. He was a good listener at times but told a good story too. We will all miss him and you will especially, but know that he lives on in spirit. He lived his life fully and that is a great blessing.

To Dale, David and The Sloan Family:
I am very sorry to learn of this tragic loss.
When the Sloans moved to Kenwood, his squad car served as the neighborhood's orginal "traffic calming" measure.
As a police officer or a host, he was always considered one of the good guys.
You were fortunate to have him so present in your lives.

They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
