Summer Fitzgerald Obituary
Born Aug. 3, 2002, in Augusta County, she was the daughter of Tiffany Nicole Colvin of Craigsville, and Curtis Franklin Fitzgerald of Schuyler.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Polly Colvin.
Surviving in addition to her parents are a brother, Dylan Colvin of Craigsville; maternal grandmother, Wanda Colvin of Craigsville; paternal grandmother, Chessie Fitzgerald of Schuyler; paternal grandfather, Franklin Fitzgerald of Shipman; maternal great-grandfather, Benjamin Colvin of Craigsville; a special aunt, Megan Colvin of Craigsville; and many special extended family members.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, in Peoples Baptist Church, by the Revs. Claude Williams and David Vaughn, with burial in Craigsville Community Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Billy Campbell, Kevin Fitzgerald, Brian Fitzgerald, David Knight, O.G. Fitzgerald, and Michael Huffman.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Peoples Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday,Aug. 7, 2005, at Bear Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Benjamin Colvin, 146 E. Craig St., Craigsville.
Memorials may be made to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the University of Virginia Medical Center, P. O. Box 800386, Charlottesville, VA 22908-0386.
